Actually, it will still turn but it takes a LOT of force, and I do not wish to turn it any longer in order to avoid any further damages. The issue is that my GMT Bezel doesnt make any clicking noise and is extremely stiff and difficult to turn. Is there any quick fixes that I can do to make it work properly, or is it of to the watch maker?
I went to reset the bezel on a DB Sea Ram (not that it should matter), it initially rotated freely as it should / normally does then proceeded to become more difficult. The bezel was nearly impossible to turn. I took some unwaxed (that's important here) floss and cleaned out around the bezel. Obviously these are two different implementations of a rotating bezel but it may be worth a shot.My beloved 1998 Submariner has an extremely tight bezel. It's been a gradual thing, one I didn't even notice because I rarely use the bezel for timing or counting down to an event. But it's gotten to the point now that I literally have to take the watch off my wrist to turn it. The bezel on my 1680 is very hard to turn. So much so, that it won't go any further than 2 hours in either direction. It gets stuck and takes quite a bit of force to turn it back. My local AD said it would be two months and at least 00 to fix it. Holy crap is right!

Jun 24, 2013. I was just at the Ford dealership grabbing some tranny fluid from my buddy that works the parts dept. Mercon SP is back, and will be stocked for quite a long time now. (Previously they had depleted their stock, as Ford notified them the LV fluid superseded and replaced the SP.)
